The Rift With the Duke of Windsor
The rift with his son, the duke of windsor goes back to the first world war. I think that george was jealous of his son's popularity. He knew he'd been a very good prince of wales but didn't really want to be king. So finally, how should we amend our view of george? If we don't want to just dismiss him as a dullard that came between two more interesting people. E, well, i think we should see him as the founder of the modern monarchy and alsoe, the king who saved the monarchy from the potential danger of the first World War.
