Is the Pep Program Going to Be Tapered Down?
The European Central Bank is set to start tapering its stimulus program in December. The ECB has said that te tapering this year is their base line view, and i see no reason to disagree with them. I think the e c b is a little trickier there. Their own forecasts have inflation coming back down well below two%. That for them, i think, is the key struggle if they ever want to get their inflation rate back up to their two % target.
