Ancient Egyptians and the Risen Word

Board games have been with us forever, essentially. The earliest game we know a good deal about is called Senate. It was an ancient Egyptian game and first appeared around 3000 BC. You play this game and at that time people kind of imagine when you're throwing sticks or the dice, there was divine intervention in the outcome of the throat. So they would play it and it would be like, this is what's going to happen to me in the afterlife.
