The first murder that's depicted is er, actually one of the, it's not a double murder, because one of them survives. And i read somewhere that fincher only put the murders into the movie that had been either witnessed by some one, or that had been that had a survivor. So there's no speculation with regard to murders happened without any witness reports or survivor accounts. There's this whole set up of a spectacle. And then as the years progress, it sort of fizzles out a little bit,. at least inin in real life. and so the movie also has to account for that a little bit.
