How to Improve Your Visual Design Skills

If you can't have that sort of mental shape or watching over someone's shoulder, one thing you can do is basically take someone else's work without knowing who they are and recreate it from scratch. That's a big way to see some of those decisions they made after the fact. It's definitely a way to get a sense of how someone works and discover patterns that you weren't aware of before. The main thing I want to talk about with terms of if you have to design on your own and want to improve that skill set is to take a systematic approach.
