Is Disability a Sign of Intimacy?

In your book, you talk about several instances where disability is actually a sign of blessing or favor. In Jacob's story, he walks with a limp and interprets it as gracious. And that is often missed I think because there are so many assumptions around disability that are really rooted in ableism. We need to make sure we interpret scripture in community with disabled people.
