The Most Audacious Experiment of Transplant Surgery?
The most audacious experiment of a history of transplant surgery, i think it's probably, for me, a blood fusion that happened in the 16 seventies in france. A madman called antoine mori and a sheep were fused into one person - he was tied to a chair as well. It goes into such detail about freeing a vessel in the arm of the sheep, freeing one in the armof the man, and connecting them with a tube of silver pipe. And then this blood sort of making its way from asheep into the man in it. The book is published by Simon & Schuster at £16.99.
