The Psychology of Meat Eating

The book is about the psychology of meat eating, and how we as omnivos employ strategies to avoid ethical questions. It also looks at how those who have made that ethical commitment might be moved by a sort of inverse set of psychological pressures to retell the story of meat. There are very good reasons im to include animals in organic or regenerative or agriological farming systems. They can play a positive role on the land. And none of this is an argument for the for the status quo. None of it offers a closure on the ethical side either. But it does suggest that there is an interesting tention to navigate here.
