The 30th Day of the Omer
The 30 third day of the omer is a day when they stop dying. These days represent preparation for tora. This is the time where people who are not worthy of harbouring tora are weeded out, so to speak. We have to make ourselves into someone that's worthy of having tora. Of course, remkiva represents tora. His students represent tora. They didn't treat each other with the requisite respect. And therefore they and they died at this time,. at the time that we are trying to prime ourselves, to prepare ourselves.
