What Is an Agrarian Reform in Latin America?
About a third of countries across the world have engaged in an large scale agrarian reforms that involve redistributing property from large landowners to the landless. In latin america it's been, generally speaking, pretty closely tied to its experience with colonialism and spanish and portuguese colonialism. And certainly, europe is well, right? Even italy and portugal cted these types of land reforms in the latter half of the twentieth century.
