What's Causing Inflation?
Inflation for food has gone up by about four point six % specifically. So i'm not trying to underestimate the impact that inflation has on some families, but again, it's important to put things in perspective. When you strip out volatile food and energy prices, so called cors c p i, inflation was somewhat brighter. Prices rose by just zero two % in september, slightly higher than in august, and climbed by over four % over the past for over the last 12 months. That's still well above the federal reserves a two % target, but not as high as recent months. And then there are other causes that are that we're being told are transitory,
