How Did You Become a Commentator for Documentaries?

I was reading a book by Jennifer Freeman Marshall called, Ain't I an Anthropologist. She's looking at Zorniel Hurston and how she's being taken up in academia. So that's really interesting to me to think about those relationships. And this kind of goes into the next question in asking you about your work on documentaries. How do you prepare for it? You know, oftentimes I wish I have like cue cards, like just tell me what I should say.
