The FTC's Revision of HIPAA

HIPAA has been in desperate need of updating for years. The FTC is urging this public comment period in the revision, right? As far as I know, the FTC is not the body behind HIPAA. So many apps are sharing data. So much data is being sold. They specifically call out Amazon, which like, dude, come on. It's a lot of hot potato, not my, not my data kind of thing. And if you think you're doing anything in health care in your data and it's safe, you're gravely mistaken.
