The Importance of Shadows
I think that loving shadows and seeking shadows are very deep principle, not only of design, but of being. That is something that is available to anybody. And it's actually a book that teaches you a certain way of looking. I love to see tarnished silver. It's beautiful precisely because it's historicity. It's time. We shouldn't lose the ability to perceive darkness the way that our ancestors did. Something with substance, with personality, with intention, with purpose. Absolutely.
