How Did You Decide to Leave Public Accounting?
You worked at a public accounting company from 2004 to 2020. That's almost like almost as old as me right now, so I can't even imagine. You were very successful in that area and then decided to go all-in on an idea. Lots of factors: My son had just been born the August prior to me leaving public accounting. The pandemic had just hit. So we weren't sure that we wanted to send him to daycare with our other children. Also found out that I didn't get a promotion that I wanted. It was more just about the timing at that point.
