The Power of Intention in Art

I love the fact that my intentions are awfully totally a scarred to whatever narrative, whatever baggage the view is bringing. I mean, that's partly what makes work have a long life really, if you're some unifying viewer, it's dull. If there's some kind of puzzle, some kind of mystery set up, some passivity in the narrative, whatever, if you if there's that mystery, the view is going to be engaged. And also, this whole thing about learning until, you know, never knowing when the picture's going to finish, I never know when it works really, really finished.
