Do You Hate Conflict?
I think it's a good exercise for every lawyer to have had to be a client at some point. The other thing I think that most law students forget when they're entering the profession is that the law is really about conflict. So much of your job is either trying to find that win-win situation to dispel the conflict or to shepherd your clients through the conflict so they can get out, hopefully as unscathed as possible.
