The index essentially guarantee the dollar value index, it's actually guarantees you the return that all investors share. Some of these smart beta funds will for a short period of times will do it and some of them won't. So net net, when you're buying smart data, you're really buying a distribution of really smart guys, really average guys, really dumb guys.
