The Importance of Data Delivery Layers
When I go to companies, there's pretty much always revenue on the line. And so that's what delivery layer offers out of the box. You've got sort of this customer facing data product as opposed to needing to hire a development team to build a platform. And then on the other side, the category of embedded BI treats external use cases as like a second class citizen. So they're thinking about a platform like delivery layer for it, but if they don't have data that is ready to sell, then they're probably not talking to me. That said, I've seen everything under the sun.
