What Is the Importance of Islamic Scholarship?

Militant interpretations of islam do not have scholarship amongst them. Their scholars are people who read five, ten books and think they're experts. The only thing they now how to talk about is ghaajhajihat. Never talk about spirituality. They never talk about issues of other fir they are not experts at all. You don't need an advanced degree in islamic studies to know that suicide bombing in the middle of a market place is ridiculous.
