My sisters and I became the targets of this malicious force that occupied the shed. We refused to venture outside after dark and would only stay in the living room for obvious reasons. So all five of us would go out there to check the laundry with me acting as lookout. It sounded strange, but having this kind of buddy system in our house made us feel better.
