The Indian Women's Suffrage Movement
The indian women suffrage movement was dominated by middle class and upper class a women. These were women who often had enough wealth to engage in the activities of the suffrage movement. Often they also had to be english speaking, so that was a way which they could communicate across india. So there weren't an very many rallies. There weren't any kind of hunger strikes. All a training oneself to rails andin the kind of things that many of us are very aware of as being part of the british selfrage movement.
