The Importance of Knowing Your Father's Story
No one ever asked my father to tell his story. I'm sure he'd happily done so. No one was interested in knowing about Stalin's crimes and the cation massacres and the deportation he faced. So he never was asked to do any of these things. You know, my mother ended up talking down in the streets. She met Hildeschbeir Alberchbeir's daughter. And she did she did really participate in quite a lot of educational events. But as children, we they were always very open to us.
