The Solar Cycle and Its Effects on the Solar System
There is a periodicity to the sun's activity of roughly 11 years or something like that, ri this solar cycle. People have known about it since ancient the ancient chinese recorded observations of sun spots. And so people started noticing these things, we in the 17 hundred rof. So they're going on this sode of a hundred thousand year times go red imtil i er. I do definitely want to get into the details of how we know some of these things as well. A, and then of course, the various mechanisms which come down the road. But i want to move a little bit now to the sun itself.
