The Mary Rose - The Last 20 Minutes That Lead the Ship to Disaster

In that last 20 minutes of making her passage from somewhere off-ride up to where she actually sank, the Mary Rose did a run in towards an engagement with the French. We know that she fired her broadside of guns from the starboard side because some of the guns were found discharged and they'd been fired. She would have found it easier to turn to starboard and then run towards the French ships. But had she done that, she would have been out on her own surrounded by French ships,. which would have been almost certain do.
