The Armed Gorillas Are Not at the Forefront of the Revolutionary Upheaval in Iran
The shah remains quite fixated in particular on the threat of communism. From his first days in power until his last days in power he is viciously confronting all signs of what he sees as communist possibility in the country. networks of revolutionaries that are utterly decimated i mean hundreds of gorillas are killed or imprisoned over the course of just a handful of years. Most of the leadership of these groups is killed or imprisoned but their influence remains largely limited to universities and fellow travelers who might be engaging with revolutionary thoughts.
