President Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy are expected to meet one on one today at the White House. This comes after a weekend of turbulent talks in Washington on the debt ceiling. Negotiators abruptly ended meetings on Friday evening after both sides accused one another of pushing for a deal that catered to the more extreme wings of their parties.
