How Important Was Your Study of History in Your Day Job?
i can't imagine having been able to effectively do my job without the training i had as historian. I think that was the best preparation for the responsibilities and duties i had in war time. How oftentimes i was frustrated because we clung to sort of simple solutions to complex problems. Anda, we didn't integrate all elements of national power and efforts of like minded partners to achieve well defined goals and objectives.
