OCC Chairman Sue has been criticized for his handling of the crypto industry. She says he was trying to create a regulatory perimeter, but others weren't so sure. OCC said it would not repeal Brooks-era interpretive letters that allow banks to do what they're doing in some cases. The agency is working with other regulators on how to regulate fintechs and payment platforms.
