Krasas and the Spartacus Revolt

Pompey was always a rival of Krasas. Julius Caesar was virtually created by Krasas, partly as a counterweight against Pompey. And so whenever Pompey was in Rome, Krasas tended to do quite well at his expense. When Pompey was out conquering the East, he was making even more money at certain times than Krasas was. So those were old rivals. It all was going quite well until in the best way of these things it didn't.
