Groupon chose one of its board members, who's also the co-founder of the Prague-based private equity firm, PaleFire Capital, as interim CEO. One analysis found only around 20% of Groupon buyers returned for full-price purchases. This far, they've helped push to replace Groupon's CTO and layoff around 1,000 people or around 30% of company's staff since August.
