The Different Relationships of Fathers and Daughters

I'm recasting the movie as a, an analogy or a fable about a girl wrestling with a trans identity. And David Bowie is the trans identity. It's kind of actually a very transient. But at the end, he's promising her the world and the universe. And then she doesn't accept and then he gets really mad and says, well, I'm going to destroy you. She says something along the lines like you have no power over me. That dispels that through an act of acceptance.
