The Laws Concerning Tithes
"You may eat all clean birds, but these are the ones which you shall not eat," he said. "The swine, because it parts the hoof but does not chew the cud, is unclean for you." He added: 'Whatever has fins and scales, you may eat; whatever doesn't have fins or scales, you won't' The king also advised people to give their tithes to his god so that they would fear him always.
