The Importance of Evidence in a Criminal Trial

Timothy Stanley: The January 6th committee already uncovered evidence that Donald Trump knew that he lost the election. He says there's a very high burden for the prosecution to bear if this actually does get to a trial. Stanley: Mark Meadows seems to be playing both sides here, mocking these baseless election claims at times, while also appeasing Trump at others. If he is presented as a witness in a criminal trial, will his credibility be undermined by the fact that he's been talking out of both sides of his mouth?Stanley: I don't know where he is in terms of cooperation with the special counsel; it all really depends on how he explains that.
