LG's Zero Connect TV at CES

LG's new zero connect TV uses an external box that transmits video and audio to the TV from as far away as 30 feet. The idea isn't to replace airplay or Chromecast so much as to let you put the TV wherever you want without worrying about cable clutter. New York State Department of Financial Services found it was failing to keep up on alerts from its transaction monitoring system. Meta has agreed to pay a $50 million fine after complaints made in 2018 by users who were unhappy with their terms of service.
