Is There Historical Precedent for Coming Back America Now?
i ask this because obviously we saw something like this very much on the left inthe early years of the cold war. Is there historical precedent for folks on the american right to look outside the country for for models, especially not particularly democratic ones? No, it's not at all unprecedented, right its this is actually pretty common that you have this kind of authoritarian envy on the part of various different factions in the us. I looking for models abroad is not inherently flawed. But what happens, especially, i think, among intellectuals who have a really, really strong fection for particular ideological projects, is that they end up looking at a foreign model that is authoritarian but represents what they see as
