It's been a long time since I've seen it, but the arcade machine is like a recruitment device for an alien civilization. This reminds me of something we talked about recently on the show. The Pokemon Panic in Japan and how that was deemed to be like a moment of mass hysteria. It could be because the other side here is you have this technology that's suddenly everywhere, and it involves the children.
