Is There a Link Between Genetics and Plasticity?
There's a new technology called induced pluri potent stem cells, where you can take a skin cell and turn it into any tissue in the body. And then what's interesting is, if you look at what happens when they differentiate into, say, brain cells versus heart cells, kidney cells, often there's genetic changes that occur that we can detect. I do think that many of them will come out of the diseases we study, because these different aspects of er involve, they're happening hand in hand. But i think from the from the to understand human nature and what the essence of human lot of these studies are really interesting.
