I've cast a lot of votes that they told me would end my time in the us Senate. And i presided over that second impeachment eithers the first time a senator presided over the immpeachment trial of a president or former president. I know a number of republicans who told me privately why we should vote against them, but we don't dare cause they hurt us back home for god's sake. Why be in the senate if you feel you can you have to listen to a a political group, even though you disagree with them, and then vote for them?
