Right of way is one of the biggest factors in improving things for transit users. When a bus or rail vehicle has to compete with cars to move forward, it goes much more slowly. We've seen some o rail investment street cars where there is not a separate lane. And that really slows down transit and takes away a lot of the advantages of rail.
