CNN's Jim Acosta says the grand jury process is normally secret and people don't really know what goes on or how this works. A three-hour testimony from Michael Cohen's attorney Robert Costello was a fulsome presentation, he said. But once a defense witness comes in the grand jury, it turns what's normally a bare bones presentation that doesn't have an opening opens into a trial.
