The Benefits of a Balloon Gastrostomy

Dr. Brandis developed a new technique and I think you're calling it the balloon assisted gastrostomy. We kind of favor placing gastrostomy tubes in their ones with everyone calls them mushroom tip or the button on them. They're more difficult to pull out, which is often a problem. The rate of aspiration pneumonia is no higher than it's placed kind of percutaneously using the traditional techniques.
