The Dream of a Bwayu Professor

President brimhall had a dream in which he was on campus and saw some men looking at a peculiar machine. When one of them touched a spring, a baited fish hook attached to a long, thin wire, rose rapidly into the air. He then discovered a flock of snow white birds circling among the clouds that were seemingly very happy. They looked sad when they realized their greek philosophy had tied them to the earth. Their prayers could go no higher than the ceiling. No longer was he going to risk the philosophies of the world in taking the place of o the plan of salvation or doctrine of prayer.
