The War on Terror - What Happens When There's No Recognizing?

I think on a moral level, what's most fundamentally monstrous about this lack or really maybe inability to acknowledge the war on terror is the people who have suffered on the other end of American violence. But I do think that this fundamental inability to have any real reckoning with these wars has also had very serious political consequences for the US and bad news for the rest of the world. There's enough out there if they wanted to pay attention. But it was never the focus. It was never the concern. It's not a matter of political and, for that matter, ethical significance in this country. What has happened to people?
