Is Russia Taking Action in the Arctic?
Russia has more than 50% of the land claims in the Arctic Circle. The Russians have refurbished a lot of old Cold War military bases that were there. They're putting more air defense assets in the region. All of these are designed so that they could assert control what we would call on the defense side area access and area denial capability, A2AD capability.
