Horse Armour
Most of the horse armour that survives in museum collections is from henry the eighth's time. So we're talking about a period when there were till lots of horses bein used for jousting, in competition. We've had to carry out lots of measurements on live horses to then work out how you can convert those measurements into animal size. They do show, though, tha, that theye definitely horse armour made for smaller animals, for pony sized animals.
