Emotional Craving - The Number One Sign
Stephanie Dodes: We need to understand how and what emotional eating looks like. She says the first sign is a sudden urge for food, which can be paired with an emotion of some type. When we feel this emotion of stress or fear, our body does not want to feel this emotion, so it makes you want to go to that piece of chocolate as a mean of not feeling the emotion that just got triggered. The last three signs are actually when you eat without being present - absent-minded eating.
