The Value of Godliness

The letter of first Timothy is filled with advice from Paul to his younger friend Timothy, his co-worker. In particular in this passage he wants to remind Timothy to continue to strive to be godly. Godliness is the seeking to live our lives and conformity with God's wishes for us as his children. Will you pray with me? May the words of my mouth and the meditations of our hearts be pleasing in your sight... Amen.
