Antibiotic Use Drives Resistance in South Asia

Antimicrobial resistance, or AMR, is often described as a silent pandemic. With antibiotics losing their effectiveness due to overuse and misuse, we look at how serious India’s AMR burden is and why drug-resistant infections are rising.
