The Importance of Cognitive Mistakes
The next step of managing and mitigating these kinds of cognitive mistakes is where we need to put our effort today. We wrote a piece last year called methods to improve decisions. It was an explicit effort to try to introduce handful of tools that an investor or an investment organization could try to put into place, but it's not easy. I'm persuaded that for as long as you and I are on this earth, we're going to continue to see these collective behaviors of euphoria and despair in the markets.
